So not too much new in the life of me. Watched home movies all day yesterday again. Good times. Then we watched "The Cincinnati Kid". Good movie. These are short sentences. Just a warning: it's not about cowboys (none of us had any idea what it was about...) and it's very slow moving. No, it doesn't pick up. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. Who doesn't love Steve McQueen? Alright, there are those of us who don't know who he is. Whatever. I don't even really know why I ever knew who he was because the first time I saw him in anything (I'm pretty sure) was in Newmarket when Uncle Bruce and I watched Wanted: Dead or Alive. I knew who he was when he came on screen though. It's a mystery. He was in the original "The Thomas Crown Affair" which I never saw, lol. But I think it is playing at some point in the remake. I think. Still don't know why I know him. Regardless, good movie. Also, it has a fairly famous quote in it...at the end. Which I can't tell you 'cause it would give away how it ends. And it's not like it's a confusing plot. Oh! Ann-Margret is in it. I like her. As an actress. In this movie she wasn't a particularly nice person.
That's the end of that...rambling...nonsensical story. So the answer yesterday was MST3K - Servo and Crow
C1: I’m going to a serious school now, I need serious paper.
C2: Paper’s paper.
C1: Not at Chilton.
C2: Alright, fine. Here is your serious paper.
C1: Thank you.
C2: Ooh and here are your somber highlighters, your maudlin pencils, your manic-depressive pens.
C2: Now these erasers are on lithium so they may seem cheerful but we actually caught them trying to shove themselves in the pencil sharpener earlier.
C1: I’m going home now.
C2: No, wait! We’re going to stage an intervention with the neon post-its and make them give up their wacky crazy ways.
p.s. I forgot how catchy this song is! It's going to be in my head all day...Life!
