So the past little bit has been crazy busy for me so I shall try to remember everything...

Saturday was Carianne's wedding and it was really nice (well, it was outside but I was able to deal with that...at least after the wasps left us alone). They had it in the courtyard at the back of the Drayton church...that pretty much sums up the ceremony. Except they did the sand thing instead of the candle thing which I thought was really neat (instead of having 2 candles and then using both of them to light the middle one to symbolize their becoming one they had to jars of coloured sand that they poured into a bigger jar so that the sand all mixed together). So then after chatting a bit we went back to Carianne's grandparents for punch and...fruit...except we were a little later than expected because we had to stop off and get stuff for yesterdays shindig....anyway so after that we went to the hall for the reception and dance. I was glad I had brought Dan along because it ended up being Jennifer, Dan, and me and then other people I don't know (they were all very nice I'm just not good with people, no matter how hard I try). The meal was very good, there was beef and turkey, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots,stuffing...and...other stuff that I can't remember. Luckily we had a "character" at our table so that kept us entertained during the meal. I think his name was Garner? He was one of Nic's friends from university. I had trouble hearing most of the speeches, I did hear them but I had to strain. The two I could hear best were Anna (surprisingly, I think that's the most I've ever heard her say ever at one time!) and Nic's sister, Nicole. I think/hope her name was Nicole. That is what I remember. After that was supposed to be the dance but unfortunately there had been a "miscommunication" and the music wasn't there! So we sat around and waited and waited until about...9:30ish when the music got there. It could have been worse. So then my problem was that I needed to avoid dancing at all costs. It's not that I have no sense of rhythm, it looks that way when people make me dance though. I don't know why I've tried like, 3 times in my life and every time I just look like I'm awkwardly standing/bopping to the music. Unfortunately Anna came and pulled me up there where I did exactly that. It wasn't...no I'm not going to lie. It was bad. Sarah (Shawn's girfriend...I really like her...just a sidebar) tried to dance with me so it wouldn't be so bad, she even spun me. Yeah. Then the song was over and a country song came on. Sarah left saying something to the effect of "I don't do country" which worked for me. Nothing gets you out of dancing like walking off the dance floor. I took up trying to get pictures of Jennifer dancing for her on her camera. Most of them looked like they were black and white (the lights were out at this point and there was a disco ball) but one of them didn't. Then Dad had to get home because he had to preach on Sunday plus we had to finish getting the house reading for the millions of people who were coming.

Sunday was my parents' 30th wedding anniversary party. It was good times, although I don't remember everything that happened because it was such a long day. I'm talking really, really long. We went to the church ahead of time to practice because we were leading the choruses and then we had church and then AC and the Memmotts came back to our place for pizza and fun times/getting ready for the party. The Memmotts had to go at about 2ish and right when the left some people showed up. Then people kept showing up for 2 hours. It was really good though except as I said before I'm not good with people...especially in really large groups. At one point when everything seemed under control I just came upstairs to hang out with me for awhile (that's how cool I am) then after that breather I went back down to let people in, serve them coffee and tea, help AC find stuff in the kitchen-not that I was very good at that :P-, making sure my mom and dad had tea/coffee so that they could talk to everyone without having to disappear...and general stuff...

I got a good sleep last night though I went to bed at 11 and pretty much DIED. We did watch Psych first though and I'm so glad. I was suffering Psych deprivation (and it was Diagnosis Murder...and I think Rockford Files Sarah, I totally caught it) oh yeah and on that note, Hannah and I exposed A-G-one of my other cousins to Psych. My plan is to get people watching Psych, one person at a time. We only showed him one little clip but he enjoyed it. Yeah as I was saying went to bed at 11, didn't get up until 9:40ish. good times. I had a kind of restless sleep but not as much as I have been so I'll take it! I don't feel as exhausted as I have been...ah well.

Anyway this is getting long and I haven't mentioned QOtD yet! So the answer was TMNT - April O'Neil (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Michelangelo (Mikey Kelly)
